The Friends of Hapitok (FOH) meets monthly Jan – July, September – November. We are a group of committed volunteers, that include 2 representatives from our teen volunteers (TIGRs), and 1 current staff member.
FOH Meetings are held as specified above, and review the budget, upcoming events and other needs. Additionally, the Camp Directors provide a monthly report about current status. Additionally, at the end of the Hapitok season, the Camp Director provides a written summary of feedback provided by parents, teen volunteers, and staff members. That summary is reviewed in the September meeting.
Finally, the FOH approve a budget each year, based on anticipated income and expenses. The budget is monitored each month, and line-item overages are approved.
